The Business Jet company Bombardier is investing around $100 million USD to open a new business jet service center near Miami.

The center is set to open in 2020, at the planned site within Miami-Opa Locka Executive airport.

The new 300,000ft2 (27,900m2) facility will provide Bombardier business jet customers with general maintenance, aircraft modifications, a paint shop, avionics installations and other support, says Bombardier.

The Bombardier business jet range includes Learjets, Challengers and Global business jets.

The company will continue operating its line maintenance site at Fort Lauderdale.
